Minimum Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 18 years old at the start of the training program. This requirement ensures that participants have the maturity and understanding necessary to grasp the concepts and responsibilities related to fire safety.
Basic Literacy and Communication Skills: Participants should have a basic level of literacy and communication skills in the language of instruction. This requirement ensures that participants can comprehend the training materials, actively engage in discussions, and effectively communicate in emergency situations.
This programme allow learners to understand their role and responsibility in ensuring a healthy and safe working environment within the construction industry. Moreover, it shall allow them to gain understanding of the role that health and safety plays on the overall success of construction project, how to minimise risks and overcome health and safety challenges through effective reporting.

Programs are evaluated using criteria, assessors must evaluate learners’ evidence considering a predetermined set of learning outcomes and evaluation standards.
Grade
A minimum of 60% (grade C) must be obtained for a student to be considered to have successfully completed a unit. This applies for both full time and part-time programs.
