Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning

VNFIL

VNFIL- (Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning) is a process which aims to recognise and validate skills, knowledge and competencies that individuals may have acquired through previous work experience, training, education, voluntary work or lifelong learning.

MFMAC is entrusted by MFHEA as a Validation Assessment Centre (VAC) to assess, and formally certifies the knowledge, skills, and competences which individuals develop throughout their lives by means of participation in non-formal and informal learning as per National Occupational Standards VACs aim to validate the different learning processes, contexts and experiences of candidates.

Both candidates and employers enjoy vast benefits from VNFIL. The benefits for candidates include:
